چکیده
This paper presents a new air traffic complexity metric based on linear dynamical systems, of which the goal is to quantify intrinsic set aircraft trajectories. Previous works have demonstrated that structure and organization are essential factors in perception an situation. Usually, they were not able explicitly address trajectory pattern organization. The metric, by identifying properties trajectories pattern, captures some key involved ATC complexity. idea this work find system fits vector field as closely possible observations given positions speeds. approach produces aggregate enables one identify high (low) regions airspace compare their relative very appropriate different situations for any scale (sector or country) associating index each sample airspace. For instance, compute sector, must just sum-up samples intersecting such sector. computation can also be extended time dimension order estimate average period time.
